Mary was the mother of five daughters who she loved unconditionally. She was proud of her family; her girls and their husbands, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, she loved them.

Mary was a hard worker and she spent many years working at Red Kap before retiring to stay home where she was always working at something, mowing and canning vegetables from late spring through fall and quilting through the cold winters.
