Virginia Pistole

Mrs. Virginia Swindell Pistole, age 92 was born October 14, 1917 to Hershell Swindell and Lela Pittman Swindell in White County, Tennessee.
She passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Eugene Pistole, brothers and sisters, Raymond Swindell, Lloyd Swindell, Ila Gamble, Vida Keathley, Veo Hardy, Jackie Clouse and Hilton Swindell.
Her family includes daughters and son in laws Anita and Bob McCawley of Cookeville and Dinah and Steve Bivens of Cleveland, TN; grandsons, Mike and Brandy Bivens of Nashville, David and Kristie Schrichte of Sparta and Brian and Clark Bivens of Nashville, TN; great grandchildren, Tyler Schrichte and John Dale Bivens. Numerous nieces and nephews, also a host of great nieces and great nephews.
Her Celebration of life will be held at Pistole Baptist Church 1:00 pm, Tuesday, October 20, 2009, she will lie in state at the church at 12:30 p.m. till time of service, officiating will be Bro. Harlen Simmons. Interment will be in the Pistole Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Monday, October 19, 2009 at Thurman Funeral Home from 5 pm till 7 pm.
