Susan Annette Taylor Geen, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on June 5, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee. Born on October 10, 1967, in Sparta, Tennessee, Susan's life was marked by deep family bonds and a spirit cherished by those who knew her.
Susan’s journey began in the close-knit community of Sparta, where she blossomed into a woman whose warmth touched many lives. Her presence was a steady and comforting force within her large family, reflecting values of love, resilience, and kindness.
She is survived by her loving daughters—Amanda Lee Taylor and her husband Ignacio A. Duran, Marcella Jane Taylor Green and her husband Marcus, and Karen Elaine Taylor. Susan also embraced her stepdaughters, Michelle Green and Jamie Green, as part of her extended family. Her family circle extended further with her mother, Bema Jean Taylor, and father, McAurther Taylor and his wife Donna, alongside her brother Charles Taylor and his wife, Loretta. Sharon Taylor, her sister-in-law, also remains a cherished family member. Susan’s legacy continues through her twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, whose lives she profoundly influenced.
Though this time is marked by sorrow, Susan’s memory resonates through the stories and love shared by those closest to her. She was predeceased by her siblings John Taylor, Michael Allen Taylor, and Rena Taylor, as well as grandchildren Preston Taylor Green, Anna Taylor, and Simmon Juarez, whose memories remain forever in hearts.

A graveside service will take place on June 9, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Frasiers Chapel Cemetery, located at 5930 Big Bottom Road in Sparta, Tennessee. Officiating will Bro. Wayne Haston. This service marks an opportunity for friends and family to gather in remembrance and honor Susan’s life and legacy with dignity and respect.
Susan Annette Taylor Geen’s life was a testament to the enduring power of family, love, and quiet strength. She will be deeply missed yet fondly remembered by all who were privileged to call her theirs.
