Rutha Adcock

Mrs. Rutha Taylor Adcock, age 103, passed Thursday, December 16, 2010 at DeKalb County Community Hospital.
She was born to Herman Taylor and Dellar Martha Henderson Taylor in DeKalb County, Tennessee.
Survivors include loving children Jessie Adcock and Mary Luna (Roston) all of Sparta;daughter-in-law Dorothy Adcock of Sparta, grandchildren Richard Adcock, Carl Young, Myron Adcock, Darrell Adcock and Shannon Weaver; great grandchildren Heath Young, Jarred Young and Mironica Franklin; great great grandchildren Gabreiana Young, Jackson Young, Eli Young and Ella Young.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Anthony Paton Adcock,sons Frank Adcock and Claborn Adcock, brothers Luther, Elmer, Roy, Toy, Ray Davis Taylor; sisters Emma Luna, Willie Hutchings, Bobbie Young and Mary Lou Cantrell.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 19, 2010, at the Taylors Providence Church at 11:00 A.M. Officiating will be Bro. Phillip Luna and Bro. Jarred Young. Interment will follow at the Taylors Providence Cemetery.
Family will receive friends, Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Thurman Funeral Home from 5:00 pm till 9:00 pm. She will lie in state at the church Sunday, 9:00 am till time of service.
