Ruth Adcox

Mrs. Ruth Jo Adcox, 84, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010 at the NHC in Sparta, Tennessee. Mrs. Adcox was born to Seth Foster and Amanda Randolph Foster, January 22, 1926 in Putnam County, Tennessee.
Survivors include, son, William Conley of Spencer, TN; brother, Gilbert Foster of Livingston, TN; grandchildren, Trina Woody, Elizabeth Carman, William Andrew Conley, Sherri Lynn Davis, all of Spencer; and Bridgett Harvey of Greenville, TN; great-grandchildren, Randy Davis, Jr., Jonathan Davis, Brittany Davis, Timothy Conley, Kendra Conley, Lashay Harvey and Vanessa Amanda-Lee Williams. Also special nephew, Clarence (Doris) Foister of Baxter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Warner Adcox; children, Edgar Conley, Romana Louise Woody and Sharon Marisical; grandchild, Tammy Marie Williams; brothers, Henry, Charlie, Ed, Allen Foster; sisters, Ruby Byrd, Reba Bumbalough and Virgie Bumbalough.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 1, 2010, at Sand Springs Cemetery in Monterey. The procession will leave Thurman Funeral Home with escort at 3:00 P.M. Officiating will be Bro. David Lee England. Interment will follow in the Sand Springs Cemetery.
Family will have a private viewing. Thurman Funeral Home,LLC is in charge of the arrangements.
