Roy Humphrey

Roy Humphrey, age 90 passed December 2, 2011 at V.A. Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was born in Bramen, Kentucky to Ezra Humphrey and Frances Page Frazer Humphrey.

Mr. Humphrey served our country in WW II in the United States Army in 1942. Mr. Humphrey was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and served as a deacon.

He was survived by his sisters, Eva Nell Mason of Florida and Glendora Cosby of Idaho; brother Kenneth Ray Humphrey of Kentucky; step- daughter, Judy Dodson and husband Eddie of Walling, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and past wives, Pauline Humphrey and Jean Sparks Humphrey; also several brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Thurman Funeral Home, 12 p.m. till .time of service.

Funeral service will be at Thurman Funeral Home, Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at 2 p.m., with Bro. James Wright will be officiating.. Interment will be New Hope Cemetery..
