Robert Paul Cunningham

Robert Paul Cunningham Sr. passed away Wed August 26, 2026 at his daughter's home with his family around him, at the age of 64.

He was born in Sparta, TN to parents J.E. (Gene) Cunningham & Pauline Cunningham November 29, 1961.

He is preceded in death by his father Gene Cunningham, Mother Pauline Cunningham, Brother Jimmy & his wife Laverne Cunningham, Brother Lester Cunningham, and grandson Gabriel Cunningham.

He is survived by Son - Paul Cunningham, Daughter - Carrie Young, Daughter - Rochelle (Josh) Young, Grandkids - Aiden Cunningham, Ethan Young, Draven Young, Gracelyn Young, Prudence Young and several bonus grandchildren. Mother of his children - Evelyn Meredith. Sisters - Janice (Harold) Dodson, Linda (Jim) Michetti, Treva (David) Timmons, Barbara Cunningham. Brother - George (Martha) Cunningham.

He loved his family, especially his grandkids. He was funny, always telling jokes making people laugh. He was a hard worker and always enjoyed driving a semi. When he wasn't working you could guarantee he had a house full of grandkids playing video games and giving them all the candy they wanted.

ARRANGMENTS:

The family will receive friends on Saturday August 29, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. and the funeral service starting at 2:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. Tony Nagy. Interment to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
