Mrs. Reba Alice Swindell Graham, age 84 , was born February 17, 1925 in Doyle, Tennessee to Thomas Harley Swindell and Cora Alice Holton Swindell.
Reba enjoyed the years she lived in Florida as she had many friends and she enjoyed every opportunity to spend time with her family(Children,grandchildren and great grand children).Reba worked hard and enjoyed the many trades she learned. Manager of the Miami News paper deliveries.Avon sales rep. She worked 5 years for Publix Supermarkets Inc.at the Miami warehouse with her daughter. Other jobs, Woolworth drug store 5 & dime.August Brothers bakeries. Assistant manager at the drive thru farm store. Seven eleven convienient store cashier. Winn Dixie meat wrapper. Antique furnature finishing. Waitress, House keeping, babysitting, care giver, Volunteer fundraiser for Feed the children also muscular dystrophy. Reba was a loving mother and friend. Very outgoing and energetic . Hobbies consist of gardening, embroidery, fishing, furnature uppolstrey. While attending Sparta High School she sang and played guitar in the high school band. Reba always enjoyed returning home to Tennessee to visit family & friends while living in Florida.While living in Florida she attended Calvery Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Davie Florida with her daughter. Mrs. Graham passed away on Thursday evening , December 17, 2009 in Dunlap, TN. She went home to be with the Lord. She is survived by her children Sharon Diane Eggert of Jasper, TN; Stanley Ray Graham of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. And Thomas Michael Graham of Big Pine Key, FL.; and brother Samuel Porter Swindell of Doyle, TN. Also a host of other relatives. Son-in-law Paul Eggert, daughter-in-law Allyse Graham ,daughter-in-law Carol Graham. Grand children Michelle, April,Gregg, Jack,Windi, Crystal,Amanda,Shane, Sandy,Terri,Julie&Ellen. Niece Joyce and Nephews Gerald & Wayne. A total of 15 great grand children.Many cousins.
Funeral services will be at Thurman Funeral Home,Sunday, December 20, 2009 at 2:00 PM .
Interment will follow in the Doyle Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Thurman Funeral Home, Satuday, December 19 2009 at 5 PM till 8 PM.
