Norma Gail Pedigo

Norma Gail Pedigo, a cherished resident of Sparta, TN, peacefully departed this life on February 2, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on November 6, 1937, in Sparta, she was a beloved daughter of the late Sidney H. Price and Dona Belle Price. Throughout her life, Norma exemplified kindness and compassion, traits that endeared her to many in her community.

Norma was a devoted mother to her late daughter, Cyndi Sorrell, and proudly embraced her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her son, Bill Sorrell Jr.,and her grandchildren, Chad Sorrell along with his wife, Susan, Justin Sorrell and Star Simpson, and Kayce Horton and husband Darin. Norma's legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Jake, Jessa, Jonas, and Jackson Horton, who will always carry her memory in their hearts. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom were touched by her warmth and generosity.

Norma has also been reunited with her beloved family members who passed before her, including her sister, Lucille Hill, and her brother, Harold Gene Price. While Norma's presence will be greatly missed, her spirit will resonate not only within her family but also among her many friends and acquaintances.

Visitation will take place on February 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Thurman Funeral Home in Sparta, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, allowing friends and family to pay their final respects and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman.
