Married to Herbert P. Davis, 62 years, July 7, 1952.
Preceded in death by her parents, Beecher Lee Guy and Eugenia Eveline Boyd Guy and step mother, Carrie Lee Dodson Guy, step sister, Melvina Dodson, baby brother, Lee Eugene Guy and grandson, Beau Jeffrey Deweese.
Survivors include her loving husband, Herbert P. Davis, Spencer, TN; son, Richard Samuel Davis, (Janie), Rock Island, TN; daughters, Becky Lou Davis Plinke, (Bob), Jalisco, Mexico, Ruth Anne Davis Deweese, Spencer, TN and son, James Lee (Jimmy) Davis, (Joanie), Spencer, TN; brother, Robert L. Guy, Spencer, TN; grandsons, Jonathan Kelly Shockley, SGT Jason Lee Mitchell Shockley of US Army Ft. Riley, KS, (Ashlei), Andrew Charles Maxwell, Ben Jordan Deweese,(Kaula); granddaughters, Abigail Rebecca Gissom Van Wayenberg, (Benno), Jenice Danielle Davis; step grandchildren, Tara Luna, Candice Blaylock, Warren Blaylock and Sidney Blaylock; great grandchildren, Marcus, Ava, Madelyn, Sawyer and Amira; Step great grandchildren, Harley, Nova, Damon, Gage and Kingston; Special mention, sister in law, Ann Dunham, Sparta, TN and double first cousin, Leonard Boyd, Spencer, TN, loving nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMETS:
Funeral services will be held at Thurman Funeral Home, Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 1 p.m., officiating will be Bro. Wayne Sullivan. Music, Bro. Doug Cunningham and Rhonda Carr. Interment Lost Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers, Arnold Dunham, Ben Deweese, R.L. Guy, Warren Blaylock, Dale Boyd and Chad Boyd.
