Mrs. Betty Dabbs

Mrs. Betty Jean Dabbs, 81 of Sparta, TN. Passed away Monday, December 1, 2014 at Highlands Medical Center.

She is preceded in death by her parents Norman Pleasant Bean and Myrtie Ella Judd Bean; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Mitchel D. Bean and Augzelle; and brother--n law, Rev. Hobart R. Freeman.

Some of Mrs. Dabbs accomplishments were graduate of Tennessee Tech/Kappa Delta Pi, played Piano, Organ, Artist Painting, Making cards and also wrote poetry. She was a member of Central Church of Christ.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Kenneth M. Dabbs of Sparta; children, Glenda Solomon and husband Edward of Morrison, TN, Diana Gilbert and husband Thomas of Warren, MI, Kenneth Dabbs, Darrel Dabbs and wife Gail, Dale Dabbs and wife Brenda all of Sparta; sister, Naomi L. Winsor and husband Milton of Danville, AL. 9 grandchildren; Hope, David, Nathan, Roger, Kenny, Kristi, April, Jason and Stephen; 13 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS

Funeral services will be at Central Church of Christ, Friday, December 5, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Brain McCutchen and Bro. Roy Whited officiating, interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Pallbearers: Norman Bean, Alex Bean, Tim Bean, Kenny Dabbs, Jason Dabbs, Steven Dabbs, Roger Dabbs, Ethan James and Evan James.

Visitation will be at Central Church of Christ, Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M.
