Minnie Shockley
April 5, 1930 — November 18, 2010
Mrs. Minnie Frances Shockley, age 80, was born April 5, 1930, to Clifford Cowan and Eliza Strawyer Cowan. She passed away on November 18, 2010 at the White County Community Hospital.
She is survived by her grandson, Robert Gist of Sparta; eleven great grandchildren, two sisters, Mattie Underwood of Gallatin and Annie Tucker of Nashville, also numerous nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
The family will receive friends at Thurman Funeral Home on Sunday, November 21, 2010 from 1:00 P. M. until time of services at 2:00 P. M.
Funeral services will be held at Thurman Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, November 21, 2010, at 2:00 P.M. . Officiating will be Bro. Lewis Carrick.
Burial will be in the Doyle Cemetery.
