Mattie Lee Shannon, 78, passed away Wednesday April 27, 2016. She was Resident of the Doyle area.
She was preceded in death by her parents William Perry and Leola Hedges, husband James C. Shannon, sister Maggie Fox, brother Al Hedges, and son James Terry Shannon.
Survivors include sisters, Grace Parrish and Ruth Douglas, brother David Hedges, sons Roger Shannon, Kenny Shannon, and Benny Shannon, grandchildren, Amanda Langston, Hayley Shannon, Amber Froshaug, Brandon Shannon, Kyle Shannon, Cameron Shannon, Ashley Shannon, Duston Shannon, Dakota Shannon, Shelbi Shannon, and Tony Murphy, great grandchildren, Sadie Shaw, Shania Penny, Zackery Hall, Joel Ramirez, Ella Froshaug, Raylee Shannon, Harleigh Robertson, Hunter Robertson, Henery Mason, Nevaeh Mason, and Kaeden Ippolito.
Funeral services will be 10a.m. May 2, 2016, at Thurman Funeral Home, with burial in Doyle Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m., May 1, 2016, at the funeral home.
