Mark Alan Brock

We are saddened to announce the passing of Mark Alan Brock. Mark, 55 of Sparta, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, July 24th, at his home.

Mark was born on December 8, 1970, to the late Paul and Mary Ann Brock. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his niece, Olivia Rose McCoy, and his grandparents, Jim and Annie Brock, and Mark and Irene Broyles.

He is survived by his children, Joshua Brock of Sparta and Tayler DiGiovanniello of Shelbyville; his sister, Annette (Marty) McCoy of Murfreesboro; his nephews, Keaton (Samantha) McCoy of Murfreesboro and Karter McCoy of Murfreesboro; his great-nephew, Kason McCoy of Murfreesboro, and his girlfriend, Brittany Smith of Sparta; and his aunts, Martha Vance of Doyle and Sue Broyles of Sparta, along with many cousins and their children.

Mark loved his time at Wind Rock, riding his side-by-side on rocky hills and getting a week's worth of mud and dust on him that took days to get off. He loved playing his video games and spending time with his family and his sidekick, Joker, his dog. He loved all things Star Wars related and probably held the world's record for watching the movies the most.

We will miss his kind and sweet heart and his gentle spirit.

ARRANGEMENTS:

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 27, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. service starting at 5:00 p.m.. Interment will follow at a later date in Anderson Cemetery.
