Mrs. Marguerite Christine Stamps, age 81, a resident of Doyle, passed away November 25, 2012 at her residence. She was born May 1, 1931 in Overton County, Tennessee, to John Shirley Speck and Mattie Lee Webb Speck.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ray Speck and James Lee Speck; sister, Shirley Johnson; granddaughter, Teri Rhea.
She is survived by her husband James Russell Stamps of Doyle; children, June Rhea of Memphis, Denise Lytle of Murfreesboro, Johnnie Stamps Springfield and Lynn Stamps of Dyersburg; sister, Frances Bradshaw of Florida; five grandchildren, Dave Lytle, Marie Mangrum, Mark Rhea, Kaylee Stamps and Robyn Stamps; eight great grandchildren, Amber, Kaci, Nataniel, Matthew, Austin, Kayla, Joey and Tanner.
Funeral services will be at the Bear Cove Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Bro. Jerry Pullum will officiate . The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at Bear Cove Baptist Church from 12:00 P. M. until time of service
Interment will be at Old Bon Air Cemetery in Sparta
