Margaret O'Dell

Margaret “Louise” O’Dell, age 78, passed away on September 20, 2021, at Saint Thomas Highland Medical Center in Sparta, TN.

Louise was born April 27, 1943, in Sparta, TN to the late James Franklin Golden and Sarah Isabell Golden.

She is preceded in death by her, grandmother, Zora Golden; parents; son, Edward Wayne O’Dell; daughter, Annette Wood; sister, Jean Golden Smith.

She loved watching UT play sports; she loved the kids that she served in the high school cafeteria, and loved making biscuits for Hardee’s.

Louise is survived by her, Daughter, Missy and Ryan Selby; granddaughter, Kourtney and John Linkous; sister, Kathy and Don Cope; granddaughter, Tosha Wood; grandson, Paul Wood Jr.; also, several Nieces and Nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS:

Funeral services will be Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Interment will be at Old Bon Air Cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Tim Lewis.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 22, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home.
