Lucy Belle Gamble Roberts, age 97, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014 at NHC of Sparta.
Lucy was born March 9, 1917, the daughter of Lewis Breedlove and Susie Hamock Breedlove of Blackstone, VA.
Preceded in death by her parents; husbands Jack Gamble and Clyde Roberts; son Richard Gamble; four brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her son, Dewey Gamble of NC; step children, Dorothy Wilson, Buddy Roberts, Steve Roberts and Charles Roberts; brother, Shirley T. Breedlove of El Paso, TN; five grandchildren, Andrew Gamble, Jackson Gamble, Debra Matz, Dewey Gamble and Richard Gamble; several great grandchildren and several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS
Graveside services will at Highland Cemetery, Friday, May 9 , 2014 at 1:00 p.m.,officiating will be Rev. Larry Sample, with burial in the Highland Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at Thurman Funeral Home of Sparta, TN, Friday, May 9, 2014 at 12 pm till time service at 12:45 pm.
