Lorinzo Douglas Young

Lorinzo Douglas “L.D.” Young, born on May 13, 1953 passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord February 3, 2026. An avid musician, LD loved to worship in music and song. A beloved brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many. LD was preceded in death by his father Toy R. Young, mother Beatrice Winnett-Young, Sister Barbara McManus, Brother Michael Wayne “Mike” Young and niece, Jennifer Rene` Lundy. He is survived by sisters Louise Johnson, Maxine Alexander (Mike), 3 nephews, 2 nieces, 10 great nephews and nieces, 4 great-great nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at Young Graham Cemetery.
