Lisa Gaye Alexander

Lisa Gaye Alexander, born on September 22, 1959, in Crossville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, in Cookeville, Tennessee. A beloved daughter and cherished family member, Lisa's life was marked by her warmth, kindness, and unyielding spirit. She was a lifelong devoted member of the Big Springs Church of Christ.

During her life, Lisa was surrounded by the love of her family. She is survived by her devoted mother, Magnolia Alexander, and her uncle, Ronnie Alexander. Lisa also held a special place in her heart for a host of cousins and friends, who will remember her fondly.

Lisa's legacy is preserved not only through her immediate family but also in the memories of those who knew her. Sadly, she is preceded in death by her father, George Alexander Jr., as well as her paternal grandparents, George and Lou Alexander, and her maternal grandparents, Haskell and Poppy Swallows.

In honoring Lisa's life, friends and family are invited to celebrate her memory at the Thurman Funeral Home in Sparta, Tennessee. Visitation will take place on January 23, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 3:00 PM, Interment to follow at Big Springs Cemetery. Officiating Bro. John Lawson.
