Born to Thurman and Lucille Barnes on April 17, 1946.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Gerald Cheatham of Columbia, Tennessee. Also, preceded in death by her parents, Thurman and Lucille Barnes of Sparta, Tenn., sisters Nelta(Charles) Laken, Nellie (William)Pollard, Loreen (Cornelius) Cunningham and brother, Ralph Barnes. Her sister-in-law, Zemmer Ellen Jenkins. Also, Troy Young, husband, and father of Robin and Michelle.
She is survived by her son, Robin Kyle Young and her daughter, Danya Michelle Young of Cookeville, Tn. Sisters-in –law Nelle Greulich of Nashville, Tn and Tellie Mullinix of Livingston.
Step children include Joshua Kane, Sallie Marie, Jonathan Daniel Young
Also, many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on her 80th birthday, Friday, April 17, at Hensley’s Chapel Church, Sparta, Tennessee from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
