Mr. Lee Royce Jackson, age 77, passed away September 16, 2011 at his residence in the Key Community surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Jackson served our country in the United States Army from 1957 til 1959.
Mr. Jackson was born August 29, 1934 in Putnam County, Tennessee to George Dibrell Jackson and Francis Mattie Lane Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Brain Allen Jackson; brothers, Odell Jackson, Melvin Jackson, Wayne Jackson and Willis Jackson. Survivors include loving wife of 55 years, Muriel Christine Farley Jackson of Key Community; sons and daughter in law, Gregory Jackson and wife Nichole and Kevin Jackson all of Key Community; sisters, Betty Sue Thompson of Harrison, Tennessee and Reba Coffelt of Soddy Daisy; Tennessee; grandchildren, Tara K. Jackson, Kelly Jackson and Lee Griffin. Family will receive friends Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Thurman Funeral Home from 4:oo P.M till 8:oo P.M. Funeral service will be held Sunday, September 18, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. at Thurman Funeral Home, with Bro. Marvin Saylors. Burial will follow in Robinson Chapel Cemetery.
