Mrs. Juanita Gilliam, age 80 passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at White County Hospital. She was born on January 28, 1929 in the DeKalb county to William Floyd Luna and Henry Mason Young Luna. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Paul Gilliam: Brother, James Luna and Sister, Lois Bumbalough. Juanita is survived by her Sisters and Brothers; Loretta Sparks, W. H. Luna and wife Elise, Alma Cleo Farley, Sue Qualls and husband Will, Ruth Simmons and husband Jack all of Sparta and Amerce Luna and Judy of Quebeck; Nieces and Nephews,Great nieces and nephews and Great-great nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday,July 30, 2009 from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 31, 2009 at Thurman Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Bro. Robert Burton and Bro. Jimmy Scott. Interment will be in the New Bon Air Cemetery .
