Johnny Hulse

Mr. Johnny Lindal Hulse, age 84, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the Morningside Assisted Living Center in Cookeville, Tennessee.
Mr. Hulse was born to John and Alice "Maggie" Skidmore Hulse on October 24, 1925 in Wheeler, Arkansas.
Mr. Hulse served our country in the United States Army during WWII, receiving the Purple Heart.
Survivors include, daughter, Alice Naegle of Gresham, OR; son, Norman Hulse and wife, Tammie of Cookeville, TN. Six grandchildren, Susan Szymczak, Stacey Sweat, Stephanie Naegle, Jon-Robert Naegle, Jamie Hulse, and Leah Hulse, as well as seven great-grandchildren, Heath Sweat, Alexandra Brocius, Sean Sweat, Shaylan Hardy, Cottrell Hardy, Hope Szymczak and Shawn Szymczak.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 63 years, Ida Tollison Hulse; brothers, Arlis Wayne Hulse and Kenneth Hulse; sister, Wanda Jean Hale.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at Thurman Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be in the Elrod Cemetery in White County.
Family will receive friends at Thurman Funeral Home, Monday, July 19, 2010, from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M.
