Johnny Brown

Johnnie "JB" Brown was born October 1, 1941 in Sparta,Tn to the late Beecher and LouElla Brown. Early in his life he hauled livestock for many years before buying Brown's Mobil located on Bockman Way in the 70s. He then moved north to work for Rax Inc. where he worked 17 yrs before moving back to Tn. He then became employed for the White County Litter Control where he worked 20 years and never missed a day of work.

JB was preceded in death by his parents and 5 brothers Williard, Erbie, Earnest (runt) Charles and LB Brown along with 2 sisters Lucille Henry and Willene Brown. Also, his son-in-law Troy Young.

His survivors include his wife of 42 years, Betty Null Brown; 2 daughters : Tina Young Lomax and husband Randy, and Tracy Hughes and husband Travis; 1 son- Terry Thurman and wife Becky; 12 grandchildren- Jaalen Gardenhire, Brooke Gardenhire Taylor (Jalen Taylor) Kendrick Leftwich, Tia Leftwich, Joshua Thurman, Gunner Hughes, Kaylee Humphrey, Kendelyn Leftwich, Jackson Leftwich, Bentley Leftwich, Jayce and Josh Lomax; 2 great grandchildren Genesis and Sincere Taylor; 2 sisters- Dorothy and RubyAnn Brown; Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends and family.

Pall Bearers: Jaalen Gardenhire, Kendrick Leftwich, Leon Brown, David Brown, Zack Brown, Danny Ray Brown, Jeffrey Culley and Gunner Hughes

Honorary Pall Bearers: Robert Austin and Kenneth McCormick (Kokomo)

Arrangements:

The family will have visitation on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM at Thurman Funeral Home.

Funeral service will begin at 4:00PM on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Thurman Funeral Home. Interment at Corinth Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Richard Felts.
