John (Eddie) Bennett

John Edward (Eddie) Bennett age 70 passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at St. Thomas Highland Hospital in Sparta

Mr. Bennett was born in the Lost Creek Community May 17, 1948 to Paul Bennett and Alice Tolbert Bennett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Bennett and Alice Tolbert Bennett: brothers, Harold Bennett and James Bennett.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years Rachel Bennett; brothers, Robert Bennett of Doyle and Carl Bennett, & wife Missy of Rock Island; sister, Betty Qualls of Sparta; special nephew, Zach Bennett of Rock Island; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Also, his four legged friend Bailey.

Arrangements:

The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. at Thurman Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. Brent Tevebaugh. Interment will follow at Copeland Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers, Zach Bennett, Don Bennett, Dale Bennett, Billy Bilbrey, Johnny Kreis and Dallas Sullivan.
