Jewell Dodson

Mrs. Jewell Lorena Dodson, born November 10, 1933, went to sleep in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 21, 2011.

Preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Dodson; one infant son; parents, Jeff and Lennie Brewington; sister, Juanita Robinson; brother, Thomas (Sonny) Brewington.

Mrs. Dodson is survived by three children, Steve Dodson and wife, Ellie; Collette Graham and husband; Dale; and Sherrie Exum and husband, Luther, all of Sparta; one brother, Keith Brewington and wife, Linda of Mississippi; two grandsons, Brandon Dodson and Danny Webb; two granddaughters, Ashlyn Webb and Angie Palmer; four great-grandchildren, Caden Dodson, Rayne Dodson, Hunter Price and Seth Price, all of Sparta. Many nieces, nephews and their families.

Family will receive friends Monday, May 23, 2011 at 5:00 p.m.a�"7:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home, then Mrs. Dodson will be taken that night to be with friends and family at the Board Valley Freewill Baptist Church until time of service the next morning.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Board Valley Freewill Baptist Church. Officiating will be Bro. Robert Benson.

Pallbearers a�" Mike Sparks, James Sparks, Kenny Sparks, Ronnie Robinson, Terry Brewington and Danny Webb. Interment will follow at Board Valley Cemetery.
