James Howell
December 7, 1934 — February 14, 2012
James C. Howell, age 77, of Sparta, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 in Cookeville Regional Hospital. He was born December 7, 1934 in White County, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dora Faye Howell; and sister, Nellie Howell Redmon. Survivors include his sisters, Carlena Howell Nabors and Barbara Howell Mathis, both of Cookeville, TN; brother, Benjamin "Ben" Howell of Sparta, TN. Also several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the Rice Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Stan Gantt officiating. Interment will follow in the Rice Cemetery.
Thurman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
