James Fish

James "Jim" Larry Fish, age 52, passed away on April 13, 2017 at his home in Sparta, Tennessee.

Jim was born February 2, 1965, to James Erie Fish and Ruby Joyce Stepp Fish in Detroit, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his father; and brother Richard Erie Fish.

Jim loved life. He enjoyed cooking delicious food for family and friends. He passed his love for sports on to his son James and daughter Erin. He shared his love for music with his daughter Elyssa. He always had a beautiful smile on his face. But most of all he loved his family, and it showed in the self-less way he lived every day of his life.

Survivors include his son, James Larry Fish II of Sparta; daughters, Elyssa Renae Fish and Erin Reshae Fish both of Sparta; children's mother, Mary Fish of Sparta; mother, Ruby Joyce Stepp Fish of Sparta, TN; sisters, Nancy Lee Campbell (Bill) of Oldenburg, IN; Catherine (Cathy) Ann Fish Harrington (Michael) of Jupiter, FL; Rosemary (Rose) Magdalene Fish Greene (Theodore) of Hermitage, TN; and Patricia (Patty) Naomi Fish Bilyeu (Mike) of Sparta; brother, Michael (Mike) Stephen Fish ( Cathy) of Woodbury, MN; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Pallbearers include Mike Bilyeu , Mike Fish, Theo Greene, Randy Lee, Steven Hale and James Fish.

Honorary Pallbearers include Ron Roberts and Tim Pryor.

ARRANGEMENTS

Funeral Service will be Monday April 17, 2017 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, at 11:00 am. with Bro. Doug Benningfield.

Family will receive friends at Thurman Funeral Home, Saturday April 15, 2017 at 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Also Monday April 17, 2017 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, at 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am.

Internment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
