Sparta, TN - Irene Becker, beloved wife, daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2023, at the age of 83. She was a cherished member of her community and will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Irene was born on November 16, 1940, in Rickman, TN to William Clenie Breeding Sr. and Nora Lee Breeding. 

Irene married the love of her life, Lonnie Ray Becker, and together they built a life filled with joy and happiness. They shared many wonderful memories and created a lasting legacy of love that will forever be cherished.

 Irene leaves behind a legacy of love in the hearts of her surviving family members. She is survived by her siblings James Breeding of CA, Betty Rigsby of Morrison, TN, William Breeding of Rock Island, TN, Jerry Breeding of Sparta, TN. Irene had a special place in her heart for her nephews: Robert Rigsby of Morrison TN; David Rigsby of McMinnville,TN; Jimmy Breeding and Bobby Breeding of CA; nieces Donna (Jeff) Walker of Morrison,TN; Barbra Breeding of Crossville,TN ; Kathy Walner of CA; Regina Campbell pf McMinnville,TN.

Irene was known for her kindness, generosity, and warm-hearted nature. She always had a smile on her face and an open ear for those in need. Her warm spirit touched the lives of many people within the community.

Irene will forever be remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to her family. She was a pillar of strength and support, always there to lend a helping hand or provide words of encouragement. Her legacy as a loving wife, daughter, sister, and aunt will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Services for Irene will be held at Thurman Funeral Home located at 44 N Main St, Sparta, TN 38583. A visitation will take place on December 20th, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. It is a time for family and friends to come together to celebrate the beautiful life of Irene Becker and support one another during this difficult time.
