Illa Rhea Eller Shockley, age 81, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at N.H. C. of Sparta.
Illa was born in Sparta, Tennessee on November 20, 1934 to Wesley Eller and Irene Stewart Eller.
She was a faithful member of Plainview Church of Christ and West Sparta Church of Christ for many years.
She was preceded in death by parents; husband of 20 years, James F. Shockley; son, Jeffrey Wayne Shockley; brothers, Arless Eller and Alton "Corky" Eller.
She is survived by her son, James Wesley (Wes) Shockley; sisters, Reba Nell Eller Hutchings and Willene Eller Sullivan; grandsons, Alex Shockley, Zack Shockley, Jordan Shockley and Kayla Shockley; best of friends, Treva Geer and Jewell Prater. Also a host of nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS
Funeral services will be at Thurman Funeral Home, Thursday September 8, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. Internment will follow at Plainview Cemetery on Monterey Highway.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Thurman Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M. till time of service.
Pallbearers: James Eller, Gary Dodson, David Beard, Matthew Beard, Ronnie Brock, Bo Young and Herman Eller.
