Henry Thomas Humphrey

September 25, 1947 — June 4, 2025

Sparta

Henry Thomas Humphrey passed away June 4th 2025 at the age of 77 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born September 25th 1947 in Sparta Tennessee and was raised by his parents Clyde and Clara Marie Humphrey. He graduated from White County High. At age 18 Tom joined our United States National Guard where he served for 7 years proudly.

Everyone who knew Tom knew he had a funny sense of humor. He enjoyed being around his grandkids, pulling pranks and joking around with them. Whenever he got around his grandkids his inner child would show through and it was like he became one of them. He gained a passion for golfing, and would never turn down an invite to play. He became very good at it and was known on the coarse and respected. He had a great group of guys he would go out on the bird hunts with, that he truly loved. He was known for storytelling and he had so many good stories that could make you laugh. Everywhere he went you would think he knew everyone there and by the time he left he did, he made a lot of friends. He was very hardworking; you would have to remind him to stop. You would often find Tom at an auction collecting guns and whatever antiques caught his eye. Many people knew that they could always count on him to help with any mechanical vehicle issues they had. He loved cars and working on them and had a vast knowledge of all mechanics. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen " Sparky" Humphrey, his children Angie Holland (Spouse Phillip), Tracy Mason (Spouse Roger), Billy Larsen, and Alexis Marie Heslop (Spouse Robert) Siblings JoeDenny Humphrey (Spouse Janice) Dotti Pittman (Spouse Royce) EddieWayne Humphrey (Spouse Phyllis) and Pam McKay (Spouse Henry)

He is proceeded in death by his parents Clyde and Clara Marie Humphrey, Louise Fromont
