Gracie Sparkman Phifer, age 68, passed away August 19, 2017 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN.
She was born February 4, 1949 in Nashville, Tennessee to Fred W. Sparkman and Mary Ann Maynard Sparkman.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elbert Franklin Phifer Jr and brother, Earl Sparkman.
Gracie is survived by her sons, Jason Lee Sparkman (Lisa) of Sparta and Jeremiah Phifer of Quebeck; step-daughter, Mary Ann Hyden; brother, Billy Sparkman (Judy) of Florida; sister, Judy Snodgrass (Greg) of Quebeck; 2 grandchildren, Tyler Sparkman and Dakota Sparkman and wife (Stevie); 1 great grandchild, Hazel Mae Sparkman; and two nephews, Shane Barrett and Derek Barrett, cousins and friends,

ARRANGEMENTS
Funeral services will be held, Friday, August 25, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. Nathan Hawkins. Burial will follow in Anderson Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Thursday, August 24 , 2017, 4:00 p.m. till 8:00 P.M. at Thurman Funeral Home.
