Gerald Moore Jones, age 72, was born in Sparta on June 21, 1941 to Leslie H. and Ellon Moore Jones.
Mr. Jones died June 4, 2014 at his residence.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Stanton Jones.
Survivors include a niece, Karen Hollingsworth, and great-niece, Madison Hollingsworth, as well as numerous cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Thurman Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Bro. Dale Walker. Interment will follow in the Plainview Cemetery at Cassville.
Family will receive friends Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Thurman Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
