Gerald Clyde Geer, age 78, of Waukegan, IL, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at The Terrace Nursing Home, he was formerly from White County.
He was born in White County, TN , November 20, 1933 to Beecher Geer and Maggie Lee Jordan Geer.
He served in the United States Army in the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife, Peggy Ann Geer, 2 brothers, Aaron Geer and Beecher {Jr.} Geer.
Survivors include his children, Glen Geer and wife Cheryl of TX; Barbara Breiner and fiancAC., Art Rodriguez of IL; brothers, Bill Geer of Sparta, TN and Bob Geer of OH; grandchildren, April Geer Cole, Michael Breiner, Gerard Geer, Andy Rodriguez, Bobby Rodriguez, Steve Rodriguez and Meagan Rodriguez; great grandchildren, Aly, Jada, Alyssa and Brilee. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMETS
Funeral services will be held at Thurman Funeral Home, Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 1 pm. Officiating will be Bro. Jack Farley. Interment will follow in the Old Bon Air Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at Thurman Funeral Home, Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 10:00 am till time of service.
