Fred Tommie Yates Jr, Age 70 of Sparta, Tn passed away surrounded by his loved ones on August 17, 2025 at Saint Thomas Highlands in Sparta, TN.

He was born September 25, 1954 in Crowley, LA to the late Fred Tommie Yates Sr. and Nettie Ray Yates.

He is preceded in death by parents; brother, Barry Clayton Yates; sister, Julie Yates

He is survived by wife, Candy Yates; step daughters, Erica Kirby, Amy Cunningham; step son, Franky Young; grandchildren, Dayten McConnell, Peyton Steerman; mother-in-law, Elizabeth O’Dell; and also, a host of other family members and friends.
