Franklin Vincent Hanwright, age 88 passed away on November 12, 2023 in Sparta, Tennessee.
Franklin was born on April 5, 1935 in Jamica Long Island, New York.
He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a dog trainer of over 50 champion bird dogs and is honored in the Field Trial Hall of Fame Museum in Memphis, TN. He was a Tennessee Balladeer and creator of Nice & Easy music group. He also donated his free time to preforming for many local nursing homes and senior centers around the state. He enjoyed spending time on the property he managed training dogs, hunting quail, and running field trials with close friends.
He is preceded in death by father, Edward Hanwright; mother, Evelyn Lauraie Hanwright; brothers, Gerald Hanwright, Thomas Hanwright, Edward Hanwright; sisters, Jean Cox, Lucille Skowfoe, Francis Christafolo; son, Vincent Hanwright
He is survived and dearly loved by his wife, Kelly Hanwright; sons, Gerald (Annie Motto) Hanwright, Christopher Hanwright, Mark (Miki) Hanwright; also a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
