Floyd Mccoy

Floyd Lee McCoy, age 83 passed from this life January 8, 2022, at Cookeville Regional Hospital of Cookeville, TN.

He was born January 12, 1938, to the late Joe P and Lucille Lynn McCoy in White County Tennessee.

Pa was an avid lover of the outdoors he loved to hunt and fish. He loved to work with wood making countless walking canes. Pa also loved the Lord and served him faithfully and was a deacon at Findlay Church Of Christ.

Preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Eugene McCoy, Tommy McCoy, Terry McCoy, and Ruth (Rex) Burks.

Survived by his wife of 61 years, Nancy Ann McCoy; Daughter, Vickie Richardson; grandson, Steven (Stephanie) Richardson; great granddaughter, Elizabeth (Ellie) Ann Richardson; sisters, Pat (Jerry) Pollard, Rita (JR.) Young; sisters-in-law, Linda McCoy, Eva McCoy, Reba McCoy, Carolyn Hawkins; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins.

Pallbearers: Barry Burks, Joe Pat McCoy, Mike Jones, Wayne Jones, Jimmy Ragland, David Hitchcock, Michael Burks.

ARRANGEMENTS:

Funeral services will be Friday, January 14, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Interment will be at McCoy Cemetery. Officiating Bro. Dwight Fuqua.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home.
