Mrs. Estelle Tayse Stewart, age 70 , was born May 30, 1939 in White County, Tennessee to Marion Benton Tayes and Susie Elizabeth Dockery Tayse. Mrs. Stewart passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN.
She is survived by her children Michael Lee and Rebecca Stewart of Lascassas, TN, Christopher Darrell and Jennifer Stewart ofWestmoreland, TN and Jacquelyn Gail and William Light of Castalian Springs, TN; five grandchildren Crystal Brock, Shane Stewart, Michael Allen Stewart, Evan Stewart and Carley Stewart; also three great grandchildren Nathaniel Moss, Aidan Brock and Alexzia Stewart. A Host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Husband Samuel Ralph Stewart of 46 years; grandson Dusty Stewart; sisters and brothers Ola Mae Harris, Benton Dockery, Raymond Tase, and James Eldon Tayse. Funeral services will be at Thurman Funeral Home, Sunday, October 25. 2009 at 2:00 PM . Officiating will be Bro. Robert Wright. Family will have a private interment at a later time in the Highland Cemetery.
