Elizabeth Taylor

Elizabeth Collette Gardenhire Taylor, age 54, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026.

She was born August 14, 1972, to George Anderson Gardenhire and Mary Christine Cummings. She was the youngest of five children.

She is survived by her brother, Shawn Gardenhire; her sisters, Doris (Kirk) Young, Mary Davis, and Vera (Charles) Darvin; her children, Andrew Blake Young and Bridgett LeNatt Washington; and a host of cousins, nephews, and nieces. She is also survived by her special best friend, Fetina Evans, and Ayden Evans.

ARRANGEMENTS:

Visitation will be on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Thurman Funeral Home.

Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at Thurman Funeral Home. Interment will be at Davis Cemetery.
