Dorothy Elise Sparkman Davis, age 83, of Sparta, TN passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at her residence in Sparta.
She was born August 15, 1930 in Spencer, Tennessee to Ivey Rennels Sparkman and Bessie Johnson Sparkman.
Preceded in death by parents; husband, Billy Grant Davis and brother Roy Sparkman.
Survivors include Children, Jackie DeJong, Darla Sims, Billy Davis, Betsy Blaylock and husband Larry, Mike Davis and wife Carol, Tonya Scott and husband Charlie; 12 Grandchildren, Jocelyn Strickland (Keir), Jack DeJong (Maffy), Jennifer Anderson (Kevin), Melissa Eaton (Harold), Andrew Sims (Heather) Tyler Davis, Trenton Davis, Nicholas Blaylock (Megan), Nathan Blaylock, Sabrina Butturini (Russell), Bryan Scott and Emilee Scott;15 Great Grandchildren, Isobel Strickland, Ashley Randolph (Jesse), Seth Anderson, Jacob Anderson, Alex Payne, Peyton Payne, Ashley McMillian (Rob), Tyler Eaton, Taylor Sims, Zachary Blaylock, Wyatt, Blaylock, Ellie Blaylock, Kayden Blaylock, Jackson Blaylock and Samantha Butturini. Also several nieces and nephews as well as many friends.

Funeral services at Thurman Funeral Home, Friday, August 30, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.Officiating will be Bro. Paul Bradley. Burial will follow in the Mc Elroy Cemetery in Van Buren County, Tennessee.
