Mrs. Dimple Laurine Henry Britt, 86, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at the NHC in Sparta, Tennessee.
Mrs. Britt was born to Irvin Monroe Henry and Maudie Cravens Henry on July 7, 1923 in White County, Tennessee.
Survivors include sisters, Pauline Herren of Cookeville; Treva Geer of Sparta; and Beulah Howell and husband, Ed of Sparta. One brother, Clarence Henry of Morrison. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 62 years, Charles Britt, and brothers, Morgan Henry, Clifford Henry and Willard Henry.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 28, 2010, at Thurman Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Bro. Earl Alverson. Interment will follow in the Plainview Cemetery on Hwy 84.
Family will receive friends Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Thurman Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. til 9:00 p.m.
