Dennis Shane Elrod, age 38, passed away January 4, 2017 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
He was born in Sparta, Tennessee on September 18, 1978 to Dennis Lynn Elrod and Willie Jean Elrod.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and nephew, Noland Jax Frazier.
He is survived by his sister, Michelle Frazier and husband, Adam of Crossville; sister, Rebecca Elrod of Cookeville; brother, Erick Van Elrod of Knoxville. Beautiful daughter, Emmie Elrod and her mother, Marissa. Three nephews and two nieces of Crossville. Aunt, Joanne Bottoms and husband, Frankie; Uncle Teddy Elrod and wife, Loretta as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him greatly.
ARRANGEMENTS: Memorial services will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2017, 12:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. Thomas McCulley.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 18, 2017, 11:00 a.m. until time of service at Thurman Funeral Home.
