Mr. David Garrett Fitzsimmons, age 57, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN.
Mr. Fitzsimmons was born April 6, 1956, the son of the late Charles Patrick Fitzsimmons and the late Barbara Jo-Ann Garrett Fitzsimmons of Sparta formerly Pana, Illinois.
He is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Fitzsimmons of Sparta and Amy Fitzsimmons of Loudon, TN; brother, Timothy Charles Fitzsimmons and wife, Carla of Hopkinsville, KY; niece and nephews, Carrie Jo-Ann Hunter and husband, Jeremy, Michael Fitzsimmons and wife, Emily and Brian Fitzsimmons and wife, Heather; great nephews, Hayden Fitzsimmons and Ethan Fitzsimmons; uncles, Donald Garrett and wife, Elaine of Sparta and Dennis Garrett and wife, Jayne of Taylorville, Illinois; also a host cousins.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be at Thurman Funeral Home, Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 6 p.m., officiating will be Bro. Dennis Wood, with burial in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery Private.
Family will receive friends at Thurman Funeral Home, Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 4:00 pm till time of service.
