Charlie Lee Sherrell, age 89 , of Sparta , left this world in the hands of his Heavenly Father Sunday night, November 27, 2011.
Charlie was born March 24,1922 to John Nelson and Emma Lou Baker Sherrell.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Johnnie Sherrell and two sisters, Martha Sherrell and Lena Mae Sherrell and one step-son, Haston Weaver.
Survivors include the love of his life Ruby Clouse Sherrell; one step-daughter, Brenda Johnson; two step-sons, Kenneth Weaver and wife Jean Anne, and James Weaver; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 30,2011 at Thurman Funeral Home at 1:00 pm with Bro. Harold Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the Baker Cemetery off of Swamp Road.
Family will receive friends at Thurman Funeral Home, Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm.
