Mr. Billy Keith Tollison, II, age 80 of Doyle, TN passed away on Friday, April 1, 2011, at White County Community Hospital.
Mr. Tollison was born August 14, 1930, in Sparta, TN to Alvin Tollison and Ina Dorothy "Tince" Jones Tollison.
Mr. Tollison served our country in the Korean War in the UNITED STATES MARINES.
He is survived by wife of 61 years, Lillie Mae Tollison of Doyle; son, Keith Tollison, III of Sparta; daughter, Janis and husband, Joe Swafford of Hixson, TN; and daughter, Debbie and husband, Jim Howard of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, Doyle and Mary Ann Tollison of MI; and sister, Linda and Gary Billings of KY; two brother-in-laws, Larry Sullivan of FL and Wilford McCulley of MI; grandchildren, Macey Tollison, Joseph and Summer Swafford, Jamie Judd, Joel Swafford and wife, Norina, Monica and Jason Bohannon; Johnny and Jamie Blancett; and 8 great-grandchildren. Special friend Samantha Miller of Sparta.
Preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Ruth McCulley and Kate Sullivan.
Funeral services will be Sunday, April 3, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Thurman Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. Jim Tollison.
Family will receive friends Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M.
Interment will follow at Tollison Cemetery with full Military Honors.
