Betty Emerton Richardson, age 79, of Sparta Community, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013, at Highland Medical Center of Sparta. She was born December 20, 1934, in White County to Hayden Emerton and Flora Flatt Emerton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Buster Richardson; siblings, Hayden Emerton Jr., Eunice Tayse Larson and Christine Tolbert; granddaughter, Hannah Stang.
Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Richardson of OH; Loretta and Charlie Taylor of Sparta; son, Tony Stang of KY; sister, Lissie Ann Tayse of TN; grandchildren, Tamika and Ricky Jones and Cassy Everschor, Gary Taylor, Barry Taylor, Felicia Taylor, Jayden Stang ;great grandchildren, Richie Jones, Josh Jones and Warren Taylor; numerous nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS
Funeral services will be held at Thurman Funeral Home on Friday, December 27th, at 2:00 P.M. Officiating will be Pastor Robert Yockey, Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery
Visitation will be at Thurman Funeral Home on Thursday December 26th, 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P. M.
Pallbearers, Charles Tolbert, Lynn Tolbert, Ricky Jones, Robert Burnett, Mike Webb and D. J. Sparkman.
