Betty Sue Payne

Betty Sue Payne, age 88 passed away on October 22, 2025 at her home in Sparta, TN.

She was born in Sparta, TN on September 26, 1937 to the late Lee Martin O’Dell and Gladys Marie Reed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Payne; sons, Gary Payne, Eddie Payne.

She is survived by brother, David Reed; grandchildren, Derrick (Kaci) Payne, Todd Payne, Mitchell (Kayla) Payne, Justin Payne; several great grandchildren.

Arrangements:

Graveside service will be Friday, October 24, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. Barry Whiteaker. Interment will be at New Bon Air Cemetery.
