Beatrice Marcum

Mrs. Beatrice "Bea" Margeson Marcum, age 84 of Sparta, passed away Friday, January 21, 2011, at River Park Hospital in McMinnville, TN.
Mrs. Marcum was born June 9, 1926 to Lewis David Margeson and Emma Louise Wheeler Margeson in Van Buren County, Tennessee.
Survivors include brothers and sister in law, David and Gail Margeson and Willie J. Margeson all of Walling, sister in law, Monnie Margeson of Sparta. Also a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 50 years John Ray Marcum, Sisters, Alma D. Armstrong, Mary Tinney Vance, and Kathlene Margeson, brothers, Herbert Margeson, Lewis Margeson Jr., Roy Thomas "Bud" Margeson and Donald Margeson.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 24, 2011, at Thurman Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. Officiating will be Bro. Alton Marcum. Interment will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery. Pallbearers are James Margeson, Charles Parrish, Robert Margeson, Danny Wagner, Roger Griffin, James Griffin and Billy Griffin.
Family will receive friends Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Thurman Funeral Home from 6:00 pm till 9:00 pm.
