Barbara Anne Austin, age 83, passed away April 3, 2017 at her daughter's home in Smithville, TN.
She was born March 1, 1934 in Charleston, South Carolina to Charles Anderson and Mary Greene Anderson.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Billie Austin and Richard Austin both of Sparta; daughters, June Jennings and Richard of Smithville, Peggy Austin of Crossville, and Teresa Austin of Sparta; sisters, Mary Delores Boone of Greenfield, Tennessee and Betty Roberts of Oregon; brother Michael Miller of Louisiana. 17 grandchildren, Stacey Austin, William Austin, Kathleen Austin, Barbara Lynn Austin, Alana Austin, Sharree Austin, Corey Austin, Tyler Austin, Michael Spivey, Christy Presley, Patrick Spivey, Sammy Spivey Jr., Jennifer Womack, Becky Phifer, Kaitlin Jennings, Miranda Imes, and Adam Austin; and numerous great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elanze Austin Jr.; Son, Elanze Austin III; and daughter, Mariann Spivey ; .
ARRANGEMENTS
Funeral services will be held, Thursday, April 6, 2017, 1:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. Ralph Regan. Burial will follow in Smith Chapel Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, April 5, 2017, 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 P.M. at Thurman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers: Billie Austin, Russell Boone, Teresa Austin, Shawn Austin, Richard Austin, Joseph , Adam Austin and Daniel Imes.
