Augusta (Gussie) Lowery, age 63, of Sparta, TN, was born September 21, 1949 in Sparta, TN. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Gussie passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the Highlands Medical Center of Sparta.
Gussie has a lot of accomplishments in her life, enjoying her family first and for most in her life. She was employed at Federal Mogul 37 years, until she became ill. She was a joy and delight, and will be gratefully missed.
She was preceded in death by her son, Curron (Brother) Lowery; sister, Wilma Wooden; and parents, Charles Henry Henderson and Mattie Pearl Shockley Henderson.
Survivors include husband, Willard (Tube) Lowery; son, Saxton Lowery; daughter in law, Cyndi Lowery; brother, Terry Henderson and wife Kate; father in law and mother in law, Sam and Margie Chaney; Sister in laws, Debra (Diane) Hogan and husband Douglas and Maxine Chaney; four grandchildren, Curronica Lowery, Mahayla Lowery, Hali (Chris) Howard and Hillary (Joel) Morgan; three great grandchildren, Jackson, Brooklyn and Adeline; niece and great niece, Penny Woods and Kesha Woods. Also host of nieces and nephews that were truly loved. Aunt, Nella Joyce Pincheon and Ella Mae Price. Personal family, Michael Bumbalough, James (Bobbque) Shockley and host of life long employee friends.
ARRANGEMENTS
Funeral services will be held at Life & Praise Worship Center, Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Officiating will be Bro. Shawn Patton and Bro. Glenn Leftwich. Interment will follow in the Davis Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at Life & Praise Worship Center, Wednesday December 26, 2012 at 11:00 am till time of service.
